Summary of the notification issued by MCA on 14/02/2020
1. Extension of deadline for registration of Nidhi Companies under Nidhi Rules, 2014
Through this notification, MCA has extended the deadline for every company referred to in Rule 2(b) of Nidhi Rules, 2014 and every Nidhi incorporated under the Act, before the commencement of Nidhi (Amendment) Rules, 2019, to get itself declared as such in accordance with Rule 3A within a period of one year from the date of its incorporation or within a period of nine months (as against the earlier deadline of 6 months) from the date of commencement of Nidhi (Amendment) Rules, 2019,which came into effect on 15/08/2019, whichever is later.
