Summary of the BSE & NSE Circulars dated 31/07/2023.

BSE & NSE issue a revised list of top 1000 Companies, in terms of BSE market capitalization for the purpose of restriction of trading by Designated Persons.
With reference to the SEBI notification dated 19/07/2023 regarding extension of the framework for restriction of trading by Designated Persons during notional trading window closure period, BSE & NSE have issued a revised list of top 1000 companies, in terms of BSE market capitalization as on 30/06/2023 (excluding companies which are a part of benchmark indices), which is annexed to the said circular.
The same shall come into effect for trading window closure period starting from 01/10/2023.
