Summary of the SEBI and NSE Circulars dated 01/12/2023.

SEBI extends timeline for implementation of circular pertaining to Redressal of investor grievances through the SEBI Complaint Redressal (SCORES) Platform and linking it to Online Dispute Resolution platform.
SEBI vide its Circular dated 20/09/2023 regarding revised mechanism for redressal of investor grievances, which rescinds the master circular, had notified the effective date of the provisions mentioned in the circular as 04/12/2023. However, the effective date of implementation of the said provisions has been extended to 01/04/2024.
The entities shall continue to submit the Action Taken Report (“ATR”) on SCORES within 21 calendar days from receipt of the complaint as directed in the earlier circular.
