Extension of timeline for verification of market rumors by listed entities.
In furtherance to the SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD-1/P/CIR/2023/162 dated September 30, 2023, regarding verification of market rumors by Top 100 and 250 Listed entities by market capitalization w.e.f. February 1, 2024 and August 1, 2024 respectively, SEBI vide this Circular has extended the timeline for effective date of implementation of the aforesaid provision for Top 100 Listed entities to June 1, 2024 and for Top 250 listed entities, to December 1, 2024.
