Issuance of Master Circular on Surveillance of Securities Market
SEBI has issued a Master circular to consolidate information contained in all circulars pertaining to effective surveillance of the securities market. The circular is categorized subject wise under the headings – trading rules and shareholding in dematerialized mode, monitoring of unauthenticated news circulated by SEBI registered market intermediaries and disclosure reporting under the SEBI (PIT) Regulations, 2015. Further, it also covers various circulars issued by the Integrated Surveillance Department (ISD) of SEBI.
The master circular lists out rescinded Circulars in its Annexure 7.
