Summary of the BSE & NSE Circulars dated 21/07/2023.

BSE & NSE notifies the list of top 1000 Companies for the purpose of restriction of trading by Designated Persons.
With reference to the SEBI notification dated 19/07/2023 regarding extension of the framework for restriction of trading by Designated Persons during notional trading window closure period, BSE & NSE have notified the list of top 1000 companies in terms of market capitalization as on 30/06/2023 to be considered w.e.f. trading window closure period starting 01/10/2023.
Further, companies that qualify must include all equity ISIN and ISINs that are convertible into equity.
Companies are further required to designate one of the depositories as its designated depository and provide the information including PAN of Promoters, promoter group, directors and designated persons in the manner as specified by the depositories.
