Issuance of Master Circular on Surveillance of Securities Market
SEBI has issued a Master circular to consolidate information contained in all circulars pertaining to surveillance of the securities market. The circular is detailed subject wise under various headings, namely, trading rules and shareholding in dematerialized mode, monitoring of unauthenticated news circulated by SEBI registered market intermediaries through various modes of communication and disclosure reporting under the SEBI (PIT) Regulations, 2015. Further, it also covers various circulars issued by the Integrated Surveillance Department (ISD) of SEBI.
This master circular also lists certain circulars that have been rescinded in Annexure 7.
