Extension of timeline to hold Annual General Meetings (“AGMs”) and Extraordinary General Meetings (“EGMs”) through Video Conference (“VC”) or Other Audio Visual Means (“OAVM”)
Vide this Circular, MCA has allowed companies whose AGMs are due in 2024 or 2025 to hold their AGMs though VC or OAVM on or before September 30, 2025. The circular further provides for conducting of EGMs through VC or OAVM or transact items through postal ballot up to September 30, 2025.

Modification in the Announcement Module on NSE Electronic Application Processing System (“NEAPS”) platform w.e.f. September 21, 2024
NSE modifies the announcement module under NEAPS at the path NEAPS > Compliance > Announcements > Announcements/ CA for filing disclosures/ announcements under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. The subjects are bifurcated as follows:
1. Regulation 30 – Para A
2. Regulation 30 – Para B
3. REITS/ INVITs (As applicable)
4. Others
The further categories are bifurcated as per Para A and Para B of Part A Schedule III of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
